Lessons learned on the road:

Here we will post a few things we have learned over the last months and could be helpful for people who want to travel through south-america.

Car:

- Electronic parts are difficult to repair in south-america (less electronics in the car is better)
- Duct-tape , cable ties, silicone and leather-man are essential for everyday repair-jobs
- new batteries & tires
- check of the engine’s cooling-system before departure (e.g new tubes, water-pump)
- take enough filters with you (oil,air,diesel)
- exchange or take rubber parts prior departure (hard to find on the way)

Traveling:

- There should be a 1-year-ticket for all National Parks in Chile available, (a lot cheaper than paying all entrance fees)
